Something for Everyone

The Marveld Tournament is, of course, all about football—but there’s also plenty to do and experience off the pitch. Between the fields, a large play area has been set up for the youngest visitors. It’s the perfect place for children to have fun while parents and other spectators can relax and enjoy the football.

For the football-loving kids, there’s the panna cage, where matches are played all day long and nutmegs are both delivered and received. The teqball table is also a popular spot—a football-based version of table tennis. Children try to keep a rally going as long as possible using only their feet, head, or chest. It’s quite a challenge, but it results in lots of laughter.

And then, of course, there are the bouncy castles—big, colorful, and always a hit. Kids jump, run, and slide until they’ve burned off all their energy. For many children, this is just as much fun as the football itself.

Thanks to the efforts of many volunteers, everything runs smoothly. They keep an eye on things, explain the activities, and make sure everyone can play safely. The play area is not only a success with the kids, but also with the parents and supporters, who get a moment to relax with their hands free.
