During the International Marveld Tournament, media representatives are warmly welcomed to cover the tournament. To ensure the safety, privacy, and well-being of all participants — especially minor players — the following media and conduct guidelines apply.
We kindly request all journalists, photographers, videographers, and content creators to respect these guidelines and always follow instructions from the organization.
General Principles
The International Marveld Tournament is centered around sportsmanship, development, and enjoyment.
Therefore:
- media coverage must not negatively affect players, teams, volunteers, or officials
- the organization operates in accordance with applicable privacy legislation (GDPR/AVG)
- instructions from the organization and its representatives must always be followed

Media Accreditation
Journalists, photographers, and videographers must apply for accreditation in advance via:
The organization reserves the right to refuse or revoke accreditation.
Media representatives without accreditation are not permitted to make professional photo, video, or audio recordings at the sports venue.
Volunteers & Official Press
Volunteers who are part of the tournament’s official media organization can be recognized by:
- an official Marveld Tournament polo shirt
These volunteers have access to the fields as part of their duties and are authorized to guide media representatives and provide instructions.
Field Access for Media
Accredited media must always take into account:
- the presence of volunteers on and around the field
- instructions given in the interest of safety, order, and the continuation of matches
It is not permitted to obstruct volunteers or request that they leave the field for the purpose of taking recordings or photographs.
Photography & Video Recording
Photography and video recording are permitted in public tournament areas, including:
- around the fields
- playing fields
- grandstands
Not permitted:
- changing rooms
- medical areas
- rest zones
All images and recordings must be respectful, appropriate, and non-stigmatizing.

Minors & Duty of Care
All players participating in the tournament are minors. Therefore, we expect extra care and responsibility from media representatives.
Close-up images and interviews with individual players are only permitted:
- with the knowledge of the team supervisor
- when appropriate to the player’s age and situation
Images showing players in vulnerable situations may not be published or distributed.

Interviews
Interviews with players must always be arranged through the organization and the tournament secretariat.
Interviews take place:
- in the presence of a coach or supervisor
- in a calm and safe location
Questions regarding the following are not permitted:
- private circumstances
- injuries
- conflict situations
Social Media
We ask all media representatives and content creators to maintain a positive, respectful, and sportsmanlike tone on social media.
Use of Visual Material
Visual material may only be used:
- in relation to the International Marveld Tournament
- for promotional, informational, and communication purposes
Commercial reuse of visual material is only permitted with explicit permission from the organization.
Manipulation of images that distorts reality is not permitted.
Photo, Video & Audio Recordings
Anyone entering the sports venue — including visitors, volunteers, players, and supervisors — grants permission by entering for photo, video, and audio recordings to be made in which they may be visible or audible.
These recordings may be used by the organization for promotional and communication purposes related to the tournament.
The organization handles visual material with care and in accordance with GDPR/AVG regulations.
Reasoned objections to recognizable publication may be reported to the organization.
Enforcement
The organization monitors compliance with these code of conduct guidelines.
Volunteers with an official Marveld Tournament polo shirt are authorized to:
- instruct media representatives to keep their distance
- limit or temporarily stop recordings
- refer media representatives to the tournament secretary
Instructions must be followed immediately.
In case of violations, the organization may:
- issue a warning
- revoke accreditation
- deny access to the sports venue
In serious cases, further action may be taken.
