Tournament intent 2024

Twelve youth teams, including European top clubs, will compete for the Marveld trophy during 3 days in 2 groups of 6 teams each. The tournament of 2024 is meant for youth players born on or after January 1st, 2009.

The numbers 1 and 2 of each group go to the semi finals. The losers of the cross finals play for the 3rd / 4th position. The winners go to the final. The numbers 3 and 4 of each group also play cross finals. The losers of these cross finals play for the 7th / 8th position. The winners for the 5th / 6th position.
The numbers 5 and 6 of each group also play cross finals. The losers of these cross finals play for the 11th / 12th position. The winners for the 9th / 10th position.

All group games, as well as the cross finals and the finals, last 2 x 20 minutes. The classification games for the 5th to the 12th position last 2 x 15 minutes.

All teams (players and staff) will stay in Groenlo during the tournament and are being accommodated at the beautiful bungalow parc “Marveld Recreation”. The parc is at a 5 minutes walking distance from the sports accommodation.

The Marveld-tournament is not only known for its high international level, but also for its very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. This makes it even more attractive for the teams to participate, year after year.
