4 June 2023330 volunteers are active during and before the tournament. They range in age from young teens to people in their 80s. On Saturday evening, we were delighted to welcome four new volunteers: Niké Reinders, Floris Koppelman, Ymke Scharenborg, and Lorenzo Kasteel. They eagerly assisted in serving dessert after dinner, which was provided by Marveld Recreation for the teams, in the form of a ‘Rocket’ dessert. “It was very nice of them to offer their help. Floris Koppelman even called specifically asking if he could assist, but only in the kitchen. Perhaps he would like to get to know the teams better before potentially joining Grol’s selection next year,” said Carry Walterbos.
