8 June 2024Most teams arrived in Groenlo on Friday morning, while several teams had already settled in Groenlo earlier. Besides training and team meetings, the teams thoroughly enjoyed themselves in our lovely fortified town. They strolled along the monumental canal with the impressive cannon on the Kanonwal, the Calixtus Basilica, the characteristic buildings in the center, each with its own story. This also includes Huize Adriana, the former director’s villa of the Grolsche Bierbrouwerij, which originated here. It is now the beautiful tasting room of the craft beer brewery Brouwersnös. Even the team from FC Nordsjaelland discovered the beauty of all those gems in Groenlo.
