Like father, like son
8 June 2024Last year, Jesse (18) Ebbers made his debut as a footballer at the Marveld Tournament and also scored twice for Grol. Also a video with football highlights of him went viral. On Thursday evening during the sponsor evening, Jesse made another debut. This time behind the keyboard on stage, forming a duo with his father Tim Ebbers, singer/guitarist of Dutch pop-formation De Gracht. ‘Pretty exciting,’ Tim says beforehand. Did his belated debut due to two cancelled tournaments, due to corona, go flawlessly last year, this time ‘douze points’ and applause for father and son, visibly enjoying making music and each other. Of course, they closed with De Gracht’s hit ‘Twee perfecte handen’. Perfectly done!
