9 June 2024A snapshot from the past that we are very proud of. Daan Rots in action at the Marveld Tournament 2016. How he looked forward to it, playing at the Marveld Tournament, at the club where he took his first steps on a football field, watching his friends play football. He was part of the so-called ‘golden generation’ at Grol, was scouted by FC Twente after a very successful last season in the E youth team, and now his star is rising. Critics became fans, analysts praise his development. He can often be found at the Den Elshof sports park, sometimes he is active with the Grol youth. Daan is still a boy of the club!
