“It’s really top”

David Toxopeus, head coach of Feyenoord U15, won the national championship last Tuesday by winning the decisive final 2-0 against FC Utrecht, marking the third consecutive national championship for the Rotterdammers! And then two days later, heading to Groenlo for the beautiful season finale, although the fatigue was clearly noticeable. Nevertheless, David noticed that his team could still muster up the energy one more time. He finds the Marveld tournament a wonderful event and is here for the third time. He found Barcelona to be a great opponent in this tournament because they are a good tactical and technical team. “As a staff, we ask our boys a lot of questions and everyone ultimately has only one answer and one dream: to become a top professional footballer. And we clearly set out what a true professional needs to do. That’s what we focus on. Furthermore, I would like to say that I am very impressed with the number of volunteers and the great atmosphere at this tournament, it’s really top!”
