Main sponsor Marveld Recreatie opens indoor amusement park ‘Bommelwereld’
3 October 2025Bommelwereld is the new indoor theme park in Groenlo, where the world of Olivier B. Bommel and Tom Poes comes to life.
With more than twenty attractions, a themed experience around the castle “Bommelstein” and the town “Rommeldam”, the amusement park has become a real eye-catcher for Groenlo and the Achterhoek region.
Last Wednesday, the official opening took place amid great interest. We would like to congratulate the initiator, Edwin Bomers, and our main sponsor, Marveld Recreatie, on this wonderful milestone!
What can you expect in Bommelwereld?
Today, Friday 3 October, “Bommelstein Castle” opens its doors to visitors. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Tom Poes and Heer Bommel, with themed areas such as Rommeldam, the Black Mountains, the circus area and more.
The park consists of a large hall of approximately 9,000 m² containing more than 20 attractions.
In addition to these attractions, there is also a museum area (“De Bommelzolder”) and a theatre hall for corporate presentations, for example.
